The 2006-07 Eastern Conference Champions showed their continued dominance as they easily rolled past the Flyers, 4-0. Their lead was 3-0 after the first period on goals by Ilja Zubov, Andrej Meszaros, and Nick Foligno, then after a scoreless second period, Patrick Eaves added the final goal of the game in the third.
Martin Gerber played the entire game for Ottawa, stopping the entire 52-shot onslaught by the Flyers, who saw Antero Niittymaki stop 21 of 24 shots through 40 minutes for the loss, and Brian Boucher stop 14 of 15 shots for the final period.
