Red Wings sweep home-and-home with Penguins


Just a day after a 1-0 win over the Penguins in Detroit, the Red Wings and Penguins both scored more goals, however it was the Red Wings who scored more, for a 5-2 win. Mark Eaton and Evgeni Malkin both scored power play goals for the Penguins in the first and third periods respectively. The Red Wings saw 2 goals from Henrik Zetterberg, and one each from Kris Draper, Niklas Kronwall, and Mikael Samuelsson.


Dominik Hasek and Jimmy Howard each gave up a goal, Hasek on 12 shots, Howard on 10. Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 28 of 32. Samuelsson's goal came on an empty net.
