Johan Franzen netted 2 goals, and added an assist to lead the Red Wings to victory over the Minnesota Wild.
Chris Chelios and Pavel Datsyuk also scored goals of their own, while Tomas Holmstrom had 3 assists.
Detroit jumped out to an early 3-0 lead, as Franzen scored on Detroit's first shot of the game.
Pavol Demitra netted the lone Wild goal as Minnesota hopes for a better outcome when the teams meet again in 2 nights.
