It's been two and a half months, and Peter Forsberg remains unsigned. Among the favorites in the NHL are Anaheim, Colorado, Detroit, and Philadelphia. However that doesn't mean he'll play for one of those teams. He has also said that he may play for MODO Hockey, which is his hometown team in the Elitserien league.
Rumors have stated that Anaheim may only sign him if Teemu Selanne chooses to retire. Other teams with recent interests that have since been removed from the list are Nashville and Vancouver.
If I had to pick which team I thought he would play for, I would say MODO Hockey in Sweden.
