Panthers win goaltending battle


The Florida Panthers defeated the Chicago Blackhawks in a game that saw only one goal. Stephen Weiss netted the only score of the game at 12:54 of the 3rd period. The teams killed all 10 penalties in the game, 6 against the Blackhawks, and 4 against the visiting Panthers.


Craig Anderson stopped all 38 shots he faced for the shutout victory, while Corey Crawford gave up the Weiss tally on a total of 27 shots for the Blackhawks' loss.
