It was a Wild night in Detroit

Pierre-Marc Bouchard, Brent Burns, and Brian Rolston each had a goal on the man advantage, while the Wild killed all four of their penalties. Detroit saw only a pair of even strength goals from Mark Hartigan and Mattias Ritola.

Dominik Hasek stopped 11 of 13 shots before being relieved by Jimmy Howard, who gave up only the game-winning goal on 8 shots. Josh Harding made 28 saves on 30 shots while backstopping the Wild to the win.
