Ducks get revenge


Two nights after losing 5-4 to the Kings, the Anaheim Ducks won the second game of the preseason, 3-2 over the same Los Angeles Kings. Ryan Getzlaf scored the game-winning goal with 5:32 left in the 3rd period on Jonathan Bernier, who relieved Jason LaBarbera midway through the second period. Jonas Hiller and Gerald Coleman played in net for the Ducks. Jason King had a shorthaded goal in the second, and assisted on Drew Miller's goal in the first.


The Kings converted on one of their 9 power play opportunities, while the Ducks failed to score on their 2. Mathieu Schneider and Todd Bertuzzi made their debuts in Ducks uniforms, while Jean-Sebastien Giguere continues to recover from off-season surgery.
