The San Jose Sharks defeated the Anaheim Ducks Friday night by a score of 3-1. Joe Pavelski had a goal in each of the first and third periods for the team from the San Francisco Bay area, and Devin Setoguchi scored the other in the second period. The Ducks saw their goal in the second period from Bobby Ryan.
Ilya Bryzgalov stopped 33 of 36 for Anaheim, while Evgeni Nabokov stopped 18 of 19 for the Sharks. Both goalies played the entire game.
