Phoenix's Shane Doan notched 2 goals to carry the Coyotes past the Dallas Stars, where the final score was 6-5. Daniel Carcillo, Ed Jovanoski, Peter Mueller, and Martin Hanzal scored a goal apiece in the win.
Joel Lundqvist scored 2 goals for the Stars, with Nicklas Hagman, Antti Miettinen, and Chris Conner each scoring one goal.
David Aebischer was in net for Phoenix and made a fantastic 21 saves. Dallas goaltender Marty Turco stopped 16 shots.
