Thomas Plekanec scored a hat trick as the Montreal Canadiens defeated the Boston Bruins, 4-3 Sunday afternoon in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Chris Higgins scored the other goal for Montreal. Chuck Kobasew, Glen Murray, and Phil Kessel scored the goals for Boston.
Jaroslav Halak made 27 saves on 30 shots for the Canadiens, while Manny Fernandez made 33 saves on 37 shots for the Bruins.
