Martin Kariya, David Perron, and D.J. King scored for the St. Louis Blues, who came back from two 1-goal defecits to win, 3-2 over the Atlanta Thrashers. Marian Hossa had both Thrasher goals, one of which was shorthanded.
Juuso Riksman and Hannu Toivonen each stopped 10 of 11 shots for the Blues, while Johan Hedberg went the distance for St. Louis and stopped 23 of 26 shots.
